So, what does your website say about you?

Here’s a few perceptions common to many websites I see around (especially in New Zealand!)

Whether we like it or not, it’s 2017.

People are using the internet everyday to find products and services.

If you don’t have a physical location and your website is your whole business – would you want to live in it?

Does it make you feel inspired to do business with you?  While technologies level the playing field and allow anyone to create a website, this means you can set up shop tomorrow.

If you go the DIY route (and I am not knocking it) just know that it’s not possible to make your site look like the advertisements in 1 day.  It takes good design skills, beautiful photography, and careful wording to make it look as effortless as it seems.  Look at sites you like and decide what makes them stand out?  Why do you like it? You need to be aware of these things if you want to do this for yourself, right?
